Privacy policy

Last updated 6 September 2026.

Appido is operated by TRANSCENDENT WOLF UNIPESSOAL LDA, a company registered in Portugal under NIPC 518522164, with its registered office at Avenida do Atlântico 16, esc. 5.07, Parque das Nações, 1990-019 Lisboa, Portugal. It is a tool that businesses use to answer people who write to their Telegram channel and to the bot that belongs to that channel.

Two different relationships

This matters, because it decides who is responsible for your data.

What a bot actually receives

A Telegram bot is not given your account. It is given what Telegram chooses to send it: the parts of your public profile, and the messages you address to it. It is never given your phone number, your contact list, or the other chats you are in. Your phone number reaches a bot only if you press a button that shares it, and this product does not ask for one.

DataWhyKept for
Your Telegram user number, your first name, and — only if you have set them — your last name, your @username and the language your Telegram is set to To show the business who they are talking to, to reply in the right chat, and to answer in your own language Until deletion is requested, or 30 days after the business stops using the product
The messages you send to the business's bot, the comments you write under its channel posts, and the replies sent back to you To show the business its inbox and to let its automated replies respond to what you actually said Same as above
If you join or leave the channel: your Telegram user number and the moment it happened So a business can see how many people joined and left over time. It is kept as a count. No profile is built from it, and it is not combined with your conversation unless you have written to the bot yourself Six months, then deleted automatically. Removed sooner if you ask
Business account details — name, email, workspace To operate the account and bill for it While the account is open, then 30 days
The credential of the connected bot To receive and send messages on the business's behalf Until disconnected. Encrypted at rest, stored separately from its key, never shown in any interface
Daily counts for the connected channel — how many subscribers it has, how many people joined or left, how many blocked the bot, and how many reactions its posts received To show the business its own performance over time on its reports page. These are totals about the channel. They are not about you, they do not identify anyone, and no per-person analytics are collected Kept while the channel is connected. Deleted with the workspace
For each post the bot saw published in the channel: its number in the channel, when it was published, its text, whether it carries buttons, and Telegram's reaction totals for it To show the business which of its own posts worked, and to let a campaign be attached to a post. Telegram gives a bot no way to look up past posts, so what the bot saw is the only record there is. No picture or video is copied — only Telegram's own reference to it, which cannot be opened by anyone else Kept while the channel is connected. Deleted with the workspace

What we do not do

Automated replies

Businesses can configure automated replies. When you are talking to an automation rather than a person, the first message you receive says so — every time, on every account, and it is not a setting a business can switch off.

You can ask to speak to a human at any time. You can stop the messages entirely by replying STOP or by sending /stop, and you can block the bot in Telegram. We honour all three immediately: once you have stopped, nothing is sent to you from that business — not an automated reply and not a message somebody types by hand. If you stopped by replying, the owner of the business account can put you back only if it was a mistake, and we record who did it and when so it can be checked afterwards. If you blocked the bot, nobody but you can undo it.

Who else sees your data

These are every company that processes your data on our behalf. Each acts only on our instruction, for the purpose named, and for no purpose of its own.

Your conversations, your contact records and the channel counts are stored in Germany, inside the European Union. The mail provider named above is the one exception and it is outside the European Economic Area: it receives email addresses and the text of the messages we send to them — sign-in links, team invitations, notices about this policy — and never a conversation, a comment or a contact record. Where a sub-processor is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. Write to appido.pro@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

To delete your data, see the deletion instructions. If you are in the UK or the EU and you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.

If you wrote to a business. They decide how long to keep your conversation, so the fastest route is usually to ask them. But you may always ask us directly, and we will act on it.

Children

Appido is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child's data has reached us, write to appido.pro@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
