These terms are an agreement between you and TRANSCENDENT WOLF UNIPESSOAL LDA, a company registered in
Portugal under NIPC 518522164, with its registered office at
Avenida do Atlântico 16, esc. 5.07, Parque das Nações, 1990-019 Lisboa, Portugal, covering your use of Appido. By creating an account you
accept them.
What the service does
Appido connects to a public Telegram channel you administer and to a bot that
answers on your behalf. It reads the comments under your channel's posts, replies publicly in
the comment thread, and holds the private conversations that follow in a shared inbox where
you and your colleagues can answer them, automatically or by hand.
Two bots are involved and they belong to different people. Ours is an administrator of your
channel; it is how comments are read and how public replies are posted. Yours answers your
customers in private and carries your own name — you own it, and you can change its
credential or delete it in Telegram at any time, with or without us.
What you are responsible for
Everything your bot says. Telegram treats anything sent with a bot's
credential as done by whoever owns that bot, and the bot answering your customers is yours.
You write the automations and you own the consequences. We do not review your content
before it is sent.
Following Telegram's rules. Your use of the service is also governed by
Telegram's Terms of Service and its Bot Developer Terms. Breaking them can get your bot
limited or terminated — and Telegram's own terms say enforcement can extend to the channels
affiliated with it, and to the account that owns them. It can also put every other customer
of ours at risk, because our bot administers their channels too. So we will suspend an
account that does.
Not sending unsolicited messages. A bot may only write to someone who
started it, and Telegram forbids spamming people who did. This product does not offer bulk
messaging at all, and attempting to work around that is a breach of these terms.
Honouring opt-outs. When somebody asks to stop receiving messages, the
service refuses every message to them from your account — the automated ones and the ones
you type by hand alike. You cannot opt somebody out on their behalf, and you cannot switch
the refusal off. The only way back is the workspace owner restoring a contact who was
stopped by mistake, and we record who did it and when so it can be checked afterwards. If
they blocked your bot instead, only they can undo it — nobody can put them back, including
us.
Your bot's own privacy policy. Telegram requires every bot to be bound by
a privacy policy that is easy to reach, and no API can set one — it is a step you take in
BotFather for the bot you own. Ours is at appido.io/privacy and you
may point at it, or publish your own.
Your own legal obligations to the people who write to you, including
telling them when they are talking to an automation where the law requires it.
Selling inside Telegram. Telegram requires digital goods sold to its users
to be paid for with Stars. If your flows sell something, that obligation is yours and we
will warn you when we can see it in what you built. We never take payment inside a bot: our
own plans are sold on this website.
What we are responsible for
Running the service with reasonable care and keeping your data secure.
Processing conversation data only on your instruction — see the
privacy policy.
Telling you promptly if something goes wrong that affects your data.
What we do not promise
The service depends on Telegram, which we do not control. Telegram can change its Bot API,
rate-limit a bot, or restrict access at any time, and messages may be delayed or refused as a
result. Telegram also discards an update it could not deliver after 24 hours and offers no way
to fetch it afterwards, so an interruption on either side can lose messages permanently. We
cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and we are not liable for outcomes caused by the
platform itself.
Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time and keep
access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part of a period you have already used. If the service was unavailable for a reason on our side, write to us and we will refund it.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account whenever you like.
We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or Telegram's, or that puts
our platform access at risk. Where the situation allows it, we will warn you first.
You can end the connection yourself at any time, in two independent ways: remove our bot
from your channel's administrators inside Telegram, and disconnect your own bot from the
console. Neither deletes anything by itself.
After closure we delete your workspace and its conversations within 30
days, and we disconnect the bot that answered for you. Export anything you need before then.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in
the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be
limited.
Changes
We will give account holders at least 30 days' notice by email before a
material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and its courts have exclusive
jurisdiction.
